Ready to make it?
It takes 30 minutes to make and the soap dish is EASY to make.
Let's go!
Trace your template measuring:
- 40 X 35 cm with a 6 cm mark on the long side.
35 cm along the zipper.
This indication works for shoes up to size 39.
- from size 40, use these measurements: 45 X 40 cm
- for junior sizes, use these measurements: 35X 30 cm
Feel free to adjust the measurements, these are recommendations but the measurements may vary depending on your shoes.
Place the template on your fleece, the closure is an important indicator to draw your 2 rectangles.
The zip should be 6 cm from your edge.
You should be able to make 1 rectangle of fleece with 1 pocket. Make sure the cursor is in the middle of your template.
And 1 other rectangle of fabric.
Make the cut in 1 or 2 times to obtain your 2 rectangles.
Align the edges of your rectangles, right sides together.
Sew all 4 sides together and add stoppers to the ends of the zip.
Then turn your bag over by the zipper.

You can add a handle by doubling a bias or with recycled fabrics, straps, strings! 😉
If you wish to use other materials, this is also possible, for example you can take an old jacket and use a water-repellent fabric
At Quechua, to limit the impact of our equipment, we have chosen to use recycled materials for essential hiking gear such as fleeces.
